My thoughts today are a culmination of the things I’ve seen, heard, and quietly reflected on.

Intentionality

Intentionality.
It’s such a simple word, yet so deep in practice.

Being intentional can look like something as small as asking people to share or repost your videos. But even in that, there is a difference. Instead of speaking to “everyone,” speak to someone. Direct your message. Make it feel personal.

Because the truth is, everyone wants to feel seen. Everyone wants to feel connected to something. So don’t just speak, speak to someone.

Intentionality is also found in the quiet places.

Like praying for your friends.

It is already a struggle sometimes to pray for yourself, talk less of carrying others in your heart before God. But that right there is a deeper kind of love.

You may not check up on them every day.
You may not call all the time.
But remembering them in your prayers?

That is intentional love.

And then there is this part no one really talks about…

Intentionality can be uncomfortable.
Most times, it is not pleasant.
I would even call it sacrificial.

Today reminded me of promises I made in moments of excitement. In that moment, it felt easy. It felt right.

But later… keeping those promises became difficult.

And it made me realize something:
Do not make promises when you are overwhelmed with excitement.

Because when the emotions settle, you are left with the responsibility of keeping your word.

Intentionality is not just about what we say in the moment…
It is about what we are willing to sustain after the moment has passed.
